DIY Snowflake Decorations
made from Toilet Paper Rolls
It's that time of year again. The holidays are almost here!
These make great last minute decorations or gifts.
Materials: at least 2 toilet paper rolls, paint, ribbon, glitter, scissors, paint brush
First, cut the toilet paper rolls into fairly even pieces. You will need ten pieces for one snowflake.
Fold five of them into V shapes. After cutting and folding, you may need to glue some of the cardboard down if it lifts up like in the two pictures above.
Glue the five V shaped pieces into the five regular pieces. Then glue these together to form a snowflake. Paint them whatever colors you want or leave them the natural toilet paper roll color. Don't forget to glue on glitter to add that Christmas cheer!
10 days till Christmas!
To finish them off, add the ribbon. Cut about 11 inches of ribbon, knot it, and loop it around the snowflake. Then pull it tight.
Here are just a few we made. They are super cute!10 days till Christmas!
