Peanut Butter and Banana Freeze

Hello all!!
It feels so good to write again!. Today is bummin' day here in Pennsylvania, so I decided I would make a little snack and share it with the blog community to help beat the rainy day blues. I got the idea for this frozen banana treat from an old Women's Health Magazine.

This recipe is quick and easy to make. If you're looking for a healthy to take on the go, then this is the perfect treat.

All you need is:
  • banana(s)
  • peanut butter
  • chocolate chips
  • any other toppings that tickle your fancy (I used dried cranberries and cherries)

Take the banana and split it in half lengthwise. I also cut mine in half so I could fit onto the plate.
Spread a generous amount of peanut butter onto one or both pieces of the banana and sprinkle with the toppings of your choice along with the chocolate chips.

Layer the slices one on top of the other like you would a sandwich. Place the banana in the freezer until it is frozen solid. The recipe stated four hours would be sufficient.

I still have three more hours to go!

Leave a comment if you have any suggestions for this recipe and if you tried it, let us know! Thanks for reading :)
