Follow Your Dreams!

Do you have a dream? I'm sure you all do. Even if you are uncertain of what exactly that dream may be, I know you all have something special you would love to achieve someday. If you are looking for some inspiration and want to learn more about how you can achieve your dreams, check out the documentary The Dream Share Project. My school was showed the documentary tonight and Chip and Alexis were actually there which was pretty cool. I have so many ideas of what I would like to do. One of the reasons I decided to start a blog with my sister was to be able channel all these different passions into one place. I'm sure many of you feel the same way. You are not sure where to begin or are too scared. They referred to this as "paralysis by over analysis." Everyone tells me (and I'm sure many of you have been told the same thing) "Go to college, get a good job." This is not what I want from my life! I also know I sure as hell do NOT want to be stuck in a cubicle all day for the rest of my life. This is basically what the Dream Share Project is all about, helping people find their niche then actually pursuing the dream instead of not taking any action. I really hope that after college I will find this same strength. There are so many things I want to do! I would love to write a children's book, be a yoga teacher, own my own vineyard, and learn how to make pottery. I want to design a clothing line, be a writer, help others, volunteer, travel, work on a farm, open my own business, and the list goes on and on. I love daydreaming, what can I say? Maybe I will not end up doing half of these things but at least I can say I HAVE dreams!  The hardest part is actually pursuing them. I guess time will tell...

Feel free to leave comments and tell us what some of your dreams are!

Chip and Alexis also wrote the book Build Your Dreams on how to achieve your dreams. I would love to read it someday. Let us know if you've ever read it. Hope you all have a good rest of your evening.
